The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a constitutional federation comprised of seven emirates: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al-Quwain, Ras Al-Khaimah and Fujairah. Arabic is the official language, although English is widely used in business and daily communication. The official currency is the dirham (AED).
The country has a solid and modern infrastructure, a stable political system and one of the most liberal trade regimes in the Gulf region.
